We’re passionate about helping you grow and make an impact.

Allied Brands Collective Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a collaborative and supportive community for domestic violence (DV) Survivor entrepreneurs empowering them to succeed and thrive.

Through DV trauma-informed business coaching and mentorship, networking opportunities, and referrals to Survivor-allied businesses, we aim to provide Survivors with the resources they need to build sustainable and fulfilling businesses.

Our ultimate goal is to create a world where Survivors can pursue their passions and achieve economic independence, while building a network of collaborative support that promotes healing, determination, and growth.

By promoting Survivor-owned businesses, we hope to raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence, promote economic justice, and inspire others to support Survivors in their journey towards recovery and empowerment.

Meet Rachelle

Rachelle's story is one of resilience, transformation, and dedication to supporting others who have faced similar experiences with domestic violence (DV). As a Survivor herself, she understands the complex journey of healing and empowerment. This profound understanding led her to cofound Survivor Collective Alliance Reaching Society (SCARS) in 2015, a community-focused and Survivor-run nonprofit that offers Survivors a platform for mutual support, shared healing, and advocacy for restorative justice.

Building on her commitment to creating paths for economic empowerment and personal growth for Survivors, Rachelle introduced Allied Brands Collective in 2023. This pioneering venture is designed to support Survivor entrepreneurs by providing critical business mentorship, enhancing community connections, and boosting brand visibility. It embodies Rachelle's vision of a world where Survivors are not only supported in their personal healing journeys but are also empowered to harness their entrepreneurial spirit, contributing to a vibrant community of resilient business owners.

Rachelle's roots are deeply embedded in Oregon, where she navigates life as a mother of five and an advocate for change. Her personal evolution from facing the challenges of DV to finding happiness and success in her family life and professional endeavors is a testament to her strength and determination. Her academic achievements, including a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Public Affairs from Portland State University, have equipped her with a solid foundation in community organizing and activism. Through her education and experiences, Rachelle has honed her skills in building partnerships and advocating for policies that support Survivors and strengthen communities.

Through SCARS and Allied Brands Collective, Rachelle is not just offering resources; she is building a movement. A movement where DV Survivors find not only an affirming space to share and heal but also a platform to grow, innovate, and lead as entrepreneurs. Her work is driven by the belief that empowerment and economic independence are key to transforming the narrative around survival and success.

Rachelle seeks to create deeper connections with Survivors, allies, and the broader community through her work, sharing stories of resilience, offering resources, and encouraging collaboration to drive meaningful change.
